WOODKID - THE GREAT ESCAPE

Writing a list of IT issues that I need to try and get sorted at work tomorrow and things to make sure that I’m up to speed on as well while I wait for HIGNFY to become available on iPlayer.

Just finished what’s felt like the longest day ever and everything that could have gone wrong, has done. A twelve hour day is slightly excessive, but I feel like I have another one coming tomorrow. AND I can’t pick my package up from the Sorting Office because it’ll be closed by the time I get back.

Accidentally went shopping on my way through London and I’m now on the world’s hottest train back to Abingdon. It was nice to go home for a couple of days, see Woodkid and meet an old friend in London. I should definitely get out more.

Woodkid was excellent, in every way possible.

I’m yet to decide how being on my own at the theatre feels. I enjoy doing things on my own but I’ve been in a small flat with two other people without my own real space for so long that I’ve forgotten how to be on my own in a crowd. Or at least how to feel comfortable about it.

Parks and Recreation on the train home. This programme is excellent.

Bedroom is pretty much finished and I’m finally getting used to life in Abingdon, now that I feel like I’ve got my own space. LIFE IS GOOD.

Had a pretty fruitful trip to IKEA today, buying furniture for my room. As a result I now have a desk, a mirror and a feeling that I might need to go back soon to buy more pretty things and get absolutely lost.
